Investment Info

Not hiring a professional wedding videographer consistently makes the top of those “biggest wedding regrets from married couples” lists (seriously, google it). There are good reasons for that! Choosing a wedding videographer isn’t like picking out a bakery or florist.

A wedding film isn’t an accessory to your day - it’s an heirloom for you and your family. It’s an investment in memories. So, the fact that your inquiring about my services means you’re already ahead of the game! Read on to see if we’re a good fit to work together!

What’s Included?

Director’s Cut

This version of your day is the emotional rollercoaster that you will want to share on all the socials. Don’t be surprised if you end up pressing the replay button as soon as the SculptedFilms credits roll. The Director’s Cut is where I get to play and mold your story in a way that will make those tears start flowing and the belly laughs come out, all while you hold your partner close and swoon over how lucky you are.

Feature Film

The feature film is the one that will be queued up during future anniversaries and one you’ll want to watch to relive your day in more vivd detail. This version will include an edited version (no raw footage here) of your entire day in chronological order. Full length ceremony and speeches will give you all those wedding day butterflies again. This version is also great for our loved ones who were not able to make it to your wedding in person.

✺ Frequently Asked Questions ✺

  • We legally purchase the rights to all the music used in our films, which makes most “popular” music not an option to be used. We welcome any input you might have about the style/general mood of the music used in your film, but because the music is such a pivotal aspect to our films, we feel strongly that the final song choice should be left up to Alex, our video editor.

  • Every Director’s Cut is finished off with a hand drawn illustration from our best friend, Jane, over at Olive + Knut. We have been working alongside them for years and have grown to rely on this little cherry on top when it comes to our wedding videos. There are also options to purchase the original drawing and any other illustration services, feel free to reach out to them over at oliveknut@gmail.com

  • Every wedding day is unique and we do not wish for your day to revolve around our schedule, therefore, we do not have a set number of hours (to give you a ballpark, the usual length we’re required to be present on any given wedding day is between 6-10 hours). We arrive at a time that makes sense while you’re getting ready, then we stay through all of the reception traditions that you plan on doing and then once we feel that we’ve captured a sufficient amount of dance footage, we give you big hugs before heading out.

  • Your final films will be delivered between 4-8 months following the date of your wedding. We keep our prices low and our quality of work consistent by being a (very hard-working) single person editing team (thanks, Alex!). It takes 2-6 weeks to edit your films (once they begin) and we work on each wedding in the order that we filmed it. Between 3 kiddos and a busy wedding season editing can sometimes take closer to 8 months, but we always aim for sooner rather than later.
